This Summer Our Members who stayed with us through the long hot Summer of 2022 lost a total of 216 pounds! Here are 2 of our biggest success stories for last Summer:
A is one of our biggest Weight Loss Champions of the Summer of 2022. She was very worried she might not be able to reach her goal weight due to her sleep schedule as she works tirelessly as a CNA caring for an aging retired Professional with multiple health issues. Each week she did her very best to stay on plan. At times she gave in to a special treat or went out to dinner with one of her Sisters who are her partners in success. By the end of the Summer, A was able to lose 30.5 pounds! A is an amazing example of how it is possible to lose weight through the Summer Months and while working a Night Shift Role as a Health Care Worker.
LZ is one of our biggest Weight Loss Champions of the long hot summer of 2022. LZ was one of our long-time members who responded to our outreach texts to members who have not been in in more than 5 years. She restarted the weight loss program in the middle of July. Since she had not been on plan in a few years she was able to lose 10 pounds the first week and 2-3 pounds each week for the next 10 weeks. She even lost weight when she went to Disney World with a group of 100 youth from her role as a Community Youth Advocate!. By the end of September LZ had lost 33.8 pounds and 20 inches!
